Modelling and simulation is the art of using mathematical descriptions of the world to describe a phenomenon or process and using a computer to simulate it. Solution often requires the development of software and the implementation of efficient numerical algorithms. Grallator has specialist knowledge and experience to help with this.

Grallator helped a DCU post-graduate student to develop mathematical models of ultraviolet phototherapy which is widely used in the treatment of numerous skin conditions. An example paper is available here. Another paper is available here.
